The power of introverts

The other side of perspective we ought to know about introverts, which they are more than what they seem.

Mommy conduct art craft for nursery class

Captured a short video on the church sunday nursery craft works conducted by mommy.

It was Soo Pei first time doing such class. Anyhow it was a new programme for the church nursery under sister Sharon Chong's supervision. Mommy have spend quite some time to prepare for the class. Buying the necessary materials, pre-prepare the cut out material for easy stick on. She design and then made a sample.

I would say most if not all the children and parents enjoy the session. Bravo to my missus!

Ivan ridding on the wave

Ivan was enjoying his best time on the water during our family short trip to Port Dickson beach.

At first was reluctant to try out riding on the dino float but at the end liking it so much. Reanne on the other hand wasn't so adventurous even tough we tried to pursuade her. She have not been exposed to the beach that often yet (this might her 3rd time).

Here in the video, Yie Yie and Ivan enjoying each other accompaniment on the water.

Reanne likes Pan Mee

We were quite glad that recently Reanne has been exploring more on her food choices. As shown above, she enjoy eating Pan Mee. We also notice that she likes Wan Tan Mee. Not to forget she likes home cooked soups, slice cheese and Jacob high fibre cream crackers. Unfortunately she still don't quite like formula milk.

Right now her steady solid foods are varieties of porridge cooked with fish meat, chicken meat, carrots, pumpkins, potatoes etc.

Reanne is walking already!

Finally Reanne has pulled herself together to do the walk of faith! Yes, she is roaming free now with her two legs. A marvelous milestone in her 1 year mark. That makes one more toddler roaming in the house together with cousin sister Sarah.

The following video has been delayed due to my try-and-error on audio editing. I managed to find a free audio editor software which is pretty useful - Free Audio Editor.

Rolling time

As shared earlier, Ivan favourite pass time when visiting my parents in-law is to 'practice' his drum skills with his Ah Kong. My father in-law have made three pairs of hand made drumsticks at the house. Ivan knows it and he knows where to find it.

This is one of the latest rolling session both of them have together.

Hey I can ride

Surprise, surprise, our little lady is riding already.........in the toddle stride-ride vehicle of cause.

Reanne was comfortably sitting on the ride when mummy place her there. She didn't complaint tough but enjoying herself with the ride pretty well. Then I guess one thing leads to another.......she begins to stroll with the ride. Amazing. Personally Reanne has surprise me. All the while she shown to be soft, gentle, play safe but not the adventurous type. I guess I was wrong about my baby girl. She got some stuffs might have yet to be pulled out from her sleeves.

Bedtime

Our latest bedtime hour no longer that regular 'go to bed' kind of routine. For Pei and I it's the kind of period we look forward for after the long hours. Unfortunately it's not for the kids.

Reanne lately has become more playful at this time. With the dime light and cozy environment. And of course with the little big brother Ivan around. The two them can really get into the 'frenzy' play time lead by Ivan of course.

It's fun to see them play together as long don't fight together. The two of them is getting along pretty fine so far. Ahemmm.......okie bedtime kids.

Ivan first marry-go-round

We stop by at a nearby Fun Fair after eating out last Saturday. Since the night was still young, we decided to stop by (or I should say I decided since I drove my family there).

There were many fun things there just like a mini theme park. They have the bumper cars, thrill rides, transport rides, for young and old. Many other games also available for customer who wants to get their hands on free toys.

Ivan got his first mini car ride after my mom sponsor him. At first my mom asked him whether he wants or not and Ivan took the offer. There were only two children riding including Ivan. The other one was a little girl about Ivan age. At the beginning Ivan was pretty ok, then his facial changed. Seconds later he want to opt out and subsequently my dad pull him out when he almost wants to cry. Maybe not really what Ivan expected of. Can't blame him, it was his first experience. The other little girl anyhow stays until the end of the ride. Cool....

I later observed few of the children transport rides especially those which lift up and spins didn't provide safety harness for children to fasten upon. One kid cried and also want to opt out but the machine is still moving. The operator quickly stop it and the child's mother swiftly took the child out for safety. Phheww.....

I wonder any authorities check and control such Fun Fair operation for safety and health regulation. This kind of entertainment does not station at one location but always on the move. Children or even people can get hurt if the operator did not maintain or provide enough safety features into their products.

Parents got to exercise good judgment whether should little children be allowed for such trill rides.

Cats, dogs and even elephants

Last week was a very wet week if I do say so myself. I don't know how it is on the other part of earth besides my area. It was very, very, very wet. The down pour of water and the crazy wind. It's like mother nature trowing a big tantrum. I says not only cats and dogs but elephants. You got to be there to believe it. I am......right inside my car.

It was so difficult to see what's in front of you. I was on high alert graping my steering wheel (so only managed to record a short clips with my cellphone camera. Kids don't try this on the road).

My worst experience was driving at almost the same situation but along big trees. I can see tree branches and leaves falling down everywhere. So scary.

Thank God for His protection as we drive on the road to work, study, fetching children etc.

Come jam with me

Reanne progress development lately includes the ability to hold two objects each on one hand and knock/bang them together. It looks like solo jamming session minus the rhythm. An extra entertainment for the family :)

Reanne is crawling!!!

Yesterday, out of a sudden Reanne demonstrated her new skill of mobility at the floor. She has been practicing on the mattress and our bed lately. Without wasting time, I quickly graped my camera to record this special moment. Very happy for her new breakthrough.

Reanne is very delighted of her new found freedom to move around the living hall. Now we got 2 crawling babies and 1 walking toddler. Our house wouldn't be the same again!
