There is only ONE

Indeed with the addition of new family member, there bound to be some sort of extension, be it emotionally, physically, materially and etc to compliment the increase. Simple demand and supply principle.

But when there are two children with only one stroller, this simple equilibrium just not working well. The existing stroller was purchased to chauffeur Ivan around. Now Ivan has difficulty to relinquish it to Reanne to use since she needed it most. Several occasions we have to distract Ivan in order to put Reanne to the stroller. Unfortunately it doesn’t last long before he clings to it again. Ivan is still in the learning stage of sharing with sibling. Other than that Ivan is pretty much protective of his sister.

Hmmmm…….we need solution, if not our mobility will be badly affected or worst grounded. So far we can see two options, either purchase a new buggy to cater Ivan or hope and pray Ivan going to grow out of the attachment issues. Former option sound more logical and practical.

We have to bear with the tug-of-war for now until we find a suitable buggy or the turning around of Ivan’s mindset.

Close up with our Princes

This afternoon I managed to get a close up photo session with our daughter Reanne as an update.

Throughout the session Reanne was very cool and co-operative in letting me capture her potraits. I didn't do much to impress her except pressing my camera shutter. Reanne was just acting casual. The photos turn out Great! She is so cute and needless to say.....very cool. (Unlike her daddy camera shy!)

Labour of love

Yesterday public holiday for Labour Day, we got our chance to do some 'upgrading' shopping at Parkson Sales near our place.

We term it as 'upgrading' shopping because we really need to upgrade our children clothes especially Ivan. Time do past by furiously fast. As if just yesterday I was holding Ivan when he was just a baby. Now he is 2 years and 3 months old. Added to that Reanne who turned 2 and half months old also need some extra clothing as well. Anyway we can't act bias on any of our children. Along the way Ivan put up some resistance to try on new clothes (maybe he still prefer the old). Eventually we managed to buy for both of them. We are happy and contented feeling that we have blessed our children although they did not ask for it (actually they don't know how yet).

That brings to my realization into the bigger picture how much God Himself want to bless all His children even at times we don't ask for it. And we resist God when He tries to introduce new things in our life just because we prefer the old a.k.a comfort zone. I remember one person said that God actually, willingly and more eagerly to give all the best if just we can accept it or not.

Being parents sometime do bring that parallel and analogy
revelation of God Himself being our Father ever loving us. That is our Labour Day's labour of love.

Babyland Annual Grand Sales

Just found out today that Babyland located at SS2, Petaling Jaya is having their annual sales for all baby products from 24 April to 11 May 2008.

Might drop by to shop for Reanne's stuff.

Rice prices go up

Kedah is facing an increase of between 15 and 40 per cent in the prices of certain varieties of rice. Local super grade rice is also unavailable.

A check at several supermarkets and sundry shops here showed that the Jati Special, which is usually sold at RM18.50 per 10kg bag, was going for between RM23.90 and RM26, while imported rice such as the Siamese fragrant rice had gone up by between RM8 and RM10 a bag.

Rice wholesalers claimed millers had upped the price of a 10kg bag of rice by between 30 and 50 per cent. - Bernama

I guess we better start to eat potatoes already (not French fries please).

Extra, extra........
