Proton Exora launched

Proton Holdings Bhd has unveiled its first multipurpose vehicle (MPV), the seven-seater Exora, priced from RM69,998 to RM75,998. Launched by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak, the 1.6-litre Exora has already received orders of 2,500 units.

It is powered by a 1.6-litre CamPro CPS engine with 125bhp and torque of 150Nm, and is available in a four-speed automatic version, in trim levels of Mid-Line and Hi-Line. The Mid-Line Exora costs RM69,998 and the Hi-Line variant, RM75,998 for the metallic colours.

The Hi-Line variant gets additional features such as a rear DVD monitor, tinted glass, portable satellite navigation system, cruise control, fog lamps, rear spoiler, and leather seats and finishing.

Colour choices are Solid White, Genetic Silver, Tranquillity Black, Blue Haze, Pyrite Brown and Gaia Blue.

The Exora will definitely make Toyota Avanza MPV a chase for their money since giving so much added goodies and an attractive selling price. But again, not all meets the eyes.

Am very contented with existing one. Anyway no more room for extension. Just comparing.
